so today one of the teachers surprised me with letters that the students wrote to db...

2 of the 4 sections in 8th grade wrote letters to him! They are so sweet!!

Im so excited to mail them...I was really impressed at some of them...they actually brought tears to my eyes...

here is one
"my thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family for being such a brave soldier. You fight for al things that we, as americans take for granted. I personally feel thaty people like you and many others are why this country is called "united". And for that I thank you. Thank you for being a hero and an inspiration to everyone. i picked a letter from the top section haha...some of the other ones are horrible, but I love them just the same!!!! :D

awww that almost made ME cry! lol Thats so awesome! The 7 year old daughter of a good friend of ours (who is totally in love with my db lol) had all the kids in her class at school make a poster for him and they all signed it with their little messages to him.
And even though they spelled just about every word wrong and it was mostly made up of High School Musical stickers, I cried when I saw it because it was probably one of the nicest, cutest things I've ever seen.
