I know we had a list of awards last time but I figured I would see if anyone has any new suggestions or if there were any awards on the last list that should be taken off. Here is the old list

I don't think many would agree with the cutest kid suggestion...JMO! After having read the thread about kids in pageants, I feel some people would get "butt hurt" about their child not being chosen.

That is true... but if you really think about it, someone is going to get their panties in a wad no matter what the catagory is... it was just a idea though... we could still do the cutest pet award...

I agree... Maybe seperate boys/girls and also do age groups... under 2, 2-5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-18... I dunno. I really don't think it would be that much of a problem. The only people that are going to get all hurt about not winning are the people who would get upset about something no matter what. It's all in fun, and if people take it too seriously, it's their own fault. No matter what the subject is, someone is going to get their feelings hurt. There is always one.

There will be drama no matter what this sort of thing always inadvertently leads to drama. I hope they don't do the cutest kid thing because that does lead to hurt feelings. Saw it happen every month when they did cutest kid of the month over at BBNB. I know we had drama last year when we did the awards too.

I will keep taking suggestions for another day or two. Then I will post that list and people can PM me the list with their nominees. I will count those nominations and take the top three nominees for each award and make a post with a poll so that people can vote. That will stay open for a few days and whoever has the most votes in any given category will win that award :D

We have 'most sex deprived' and 'foodie' for someone who talks a lot about food etc. As far as drama queen, we had the problem last time that some people took it as someone causing drama and others as someone who had gone through a lot that year. It just created too much trouble. This is for fun, not to created problems.
