OMG! I was exactly the same way. It started a few months in, and then for the remainder of the deployment, I was an asexual being. My husband actually thought there was something wrong with me, and asked me if I should go see a Dr. lol. But, don't worry, it came back as soon as he came home. ;)

lol i don't think mine left.. but then DH says he married a nympho. I remind him everytime i talk to him over the phone, in yahoo IM, in Emails, in Snail Mail Letters. Just what I want and what im going to do to him when I see him. He laughs and says something stupid (or at least I think its stupid) about he hopes I can wait. Then i throw something at the camera or I hit the phone on the bed or couch and tell him what is he smoking over there of course I can wait. But it better not go past his time to come home or else his commanding officers are going to have one pissed off horny woman on their hands.

Even bounced the idea of getting a limo for HC day. just so we won't have to wait the hour drive home :giggle (we have a sitter for dd who will be at the HC with me, and she will leave from there to go back to her house.)

Mine disappears when DH is gone for long deployments too. But usually a week or two before he gets back and the possibility of booty is on the horizon...BOOM, sex drive is back! I think it's just a coping mechanism. I do remember that the very first time after a long time apart is always not as great as I plan out :lol. We always just get in a big damned hurry.

Lol I agree it was gone! DH and i would joke that its been to long and we wouldn't know what to do anymore, but now that were close to him coming home were getting those feelings back again and its driving us crazy!

My DB has been gone 11 months, my sex drive is starting to come back now...but up until now, it has been non existent...it will come back the closer it gets to him coming home.

Ours is about a 2hour drive from the airport. We have already talked about when he comes home for r&r that i know his dad and step mom will want to be there when he gets off the plane....I just dont know how i will be able to handle that drive with out jumping all over him in the back seat

Omgosh, Brittnay and I were just having this convo yesterday. My sex drive has kicked into full gear even though I have like a month left!! Ahhhhhhhh, I really don't think I can handle a sex drive for a full month without the possibility of nookie!!! Seriously, I was nearly asexual for most of the deployment but with the possibility looming I'm a nympho with no where to go. You'll get it back too.

I have days where its back in full force and I think I am going to go crazy. However, most of the time I am like I don't know what it is.

6 months later i wish my drive was gone...it wont fuckin leave....the people at the sex shop prolly know me by name now b/c i go in there to buy new toys randomly....lol. probably too much info but yeah....i want mine to leave untill he comes home....

DH talks about it all the time so mine hasn't disappeared. He wants lots of it when he comes home so... gotta stay on my game ;)

DH's sex drive is totally functioning, mine not so much so i understand. OMG reading this thread was great. I thought I was just a freak. I mean you always hear people talk about being sexually frustrated, but with the exception of maybe a whole week (not consecutive days) it hasn't even crossed my mind. It's nice to hear it's so normal.

I totally agree...My sex drive is the same if not more intense since DB has been gone, especially after we chat and cam for awhile like the next few days I have daydreams and dreams at night about him and I intimately. It's crazy. It seems like my interest has become more and more as the deployment progresses and he could care less really. I guess it's because he is more like I can't get any now so its not important. I'm more like "you need to keep me satisfied somehow boy" lol...

I just don't see how anyone could not think about their lack of sex. If they get it regularly. I don't let it consume my every second of every day but when we talk or when I am laying in bed wearing his shirt, it hits me then...
