We have never used the Trolley before and are thinking about using it this Saturday to get to the Red Bull Air Races. We are going to Seaport Village from El Cajon. So...how does it work :lol Do we just bring our cash for the riding fee and give it to the trolley driver? Do we have to get a ticket or something from somewhere before catcing the trolley? I seriously have no clue about any of it :lol

It's pretty easy! There is a direct stop at Seaport...you would just take the red line all the way down (I believe). You bring cash$$ and stick it in the machine that will spit out a ticket :D It's fun to ride the trolley :tu

Ok Cool!! We live close enough (probably about a mile) from the El Cajon transit center...so we will just walk over there and catch it to downtown. Something new and fun to do and we won't have to fight traffic or worry about parking. :cp

Have fun! The trolley can be really fun.. We've taken it from 32nd st. to Petco Park and Qualcomm.. definately better than paying for parking! And it's actually a very fast trip, since you don't deal with traffic!

It's $5 for an all day pass, I believe. Not sure about the other rates, but it says on the machines and it's easy to figure out. Stops right by Seaport Village too. :D
