Oh oh oh! Can I add that it isn't a Miniature Doberman Pinscher?!?! It's a Miniature Pinscher! In fact, Min Pins were around BEFORE Dobies!

And don't tell me you have a full bred Maltipoo/Cockapoo/Labradoodle/etc....No offense, but you have a very expensive mutt. It might be cute....but it's still a mutt.

Actually there ARE, but the ASCA is snooty and won't recognize them.

The Miniature Australian Shepherd was developed directly from the Australian Shepherd. Throughout the history of the Aussie, small (under 18") dogs can be seen in historical photographs. Many believe that the original Aussie was selectively bred larger as sheep ranching decreased and cattle ranching increased. Cattle ranchers preferred a larger dog to work the larger stock. Some Aussie owners have continued to prefer the smaller sized Aussie while others prefer the larger.

ASCA nor the AKC recognize them...They were made by people for the want of a smaller dog...DONT ever say that to an aussie breeder.

They arent SNOOTY! they arent a registered breed!

Ditto that! We used to have a certified min-pin many years ago. Anytime someone would ask his breed, we'd tell them! And then they would freak out asking if our dog attacks people, is a security dog, etc.

And since we represent this breed and will be for a public informational show, we have to tell people that...

Yes! you took the words right out of my mouth. Non-reputable breeders are trying to make these dogs smaller and smaller. It isn't healthy to have all their teeth smooshed and their organs smooshed.
