and now I have to try to find a home for the poor thing before my dad gets back from L.A. :no The poor thing is starved and you can see its hip, back, and rib bones. I can not understand why people just dump puppys off like that. Both of my pound puppys were found on the road. I really really makes me want to choke whomever did this to this poor puppy. He can't be more than 8-10 weeks old. My husband was on a job and the puppy came wandering up and who ever lived at this house saw my hubby playing with it and told him to take it because it wasnt theirs and they didnt want it. He couldnt leave it behind and let it starve. He dropped it off at my MILs and I picked it up when I left school. I dont know what to do with it. I put it in Peppers crate and I am going to put Pepper in Lilys crate and let lily stay out in the livingroom. It is so scared it growls and snaps at the other dogs so I dont want one of mine to snap back at it and hurt it so I have to keep him in there. I gave him a small amount of puppy dog food and water. I dont want him to over eat and get sick. :tears Poor thing. I will post a pic of him because I may put him on craigslist. I dont know anyone that wants a dog and I asked around my neighbors and two teenagers that live up the road are going to ask their friends. I cant keep him but for a couple of days because my dad is coming home and he will be LIVID that we have 3 dogs at his house. We live with him temp. so I have to respect his wishes. I am not taking him to the shelter because I dont want him to get put down. Any suggestions ? Should I list him on craigslist?

do the list, maybe put him on here, and also the local newspaper is great!

Do you know what type of breed it is? can you tell just by looking? Then you could go to a rescue..Or if you can't find somone around you, i know there were some ladies on here that were willing to take a dog..maybe ask around....if not pick something like a Humane society that is a no kill, NOT a public shelter that will Euthanize within a ccertain number of days. Good luck!!!!

Oh, and props to you for being a good person and taking the dog in! A lot of people wouldnt do that!

Please don't list him on Craig's List or Free Cycle. He is a puppy so even if he has to go to the shelter he will most likely be adopted out. Ask on here I bet someone will take him!

Thanks for the replies ladies. I will post here in classifieds. I don't think anyone is near me but maybe someone has a family member somewhere around here that might want a puppy.
