from a Mom's Night Out with my mom's group (it is a mom's group for kids with developmental issues and other problems) let me say it was so refreshing to be with other Mom's that understand what my day to day life is like and to bounce ideas off one another and laugh at the dumb things people have said. (like my sister saying if you would stop breast feeding and turn his car seat around he would be normal) I feel so recharged and not alone any more!

Thanks Bex that is so true I didn't want to go home I was having such a nice time. It is also nice to get to make some friends out in town as much as I adore my on line friends it is nice to be able to talk face to face.

:yes i've been fortunate enough to have some friends out here like that - with whom you share parenting frustrations, methods, etc...and you all see pretty much eye to eye. it's nice :D

I was beyond angry when she said that to me, BUT now I laugh about it. My Mom just the other day was joking around with me while we were talking about Jacob getting OT now and she said hey lets just turn his car seat around! Sometimes laughter is the only way to get through the day KWIM?
