Our new Blogs have been added. You can see them here http://forum.militarysos.com/blog.php and I will be adding a button up top, as well. :)

Quick question, would it be possible to get PM notifications sometime down the road if someone leaves a comment on a blog you have made? Right now it's only email notification I think.

Kris, I will have to look into that for you. I'm honestly not sure whether it's an option or not. I don't understand why it wouldn't be though, that's really strange. I will ask over on vbulletin and find out if we can do that and how.

Maybe I just missed it. That is a very good possibility too. I'll double check. lol

It gives you the options to 'subscribe', 'no email notification' and 'instant email notification'

I'm not seeing an option either, which is surprising to me since the blogs are written by Jelsoft/vbulletin. I would think that they'd definitely add that feature. I'll do some research and get back to you.

Are these blogs also searchable and visible to anyone from the web? I'm not really a blogger but I thought this might be something that folks should think about.:dunno

That's a good question. Also, can anyone on the board read them, or do you have to have a certain amount of posts to be able to read them?

Guests can not view blogs. You also have the option to make your blogs private or only viewable to people on your friends list, if you wish.

It's not done by post count. Members can read them, unless you set your own personal settings to allow only friends to read them. Then only people on your contacts list will be able to view.

I saw the options about your ignore list. So does that mean that if someone is on your ignore list they cant read it unless you mark that they be able view it?

As far as I know, yes. However, I'm not extremely familiar with these since I haven't used them much yet. We can test it out though if you want. :giggle
