Okie dokie ladies and gents, we've obviously had quite a week with the server issues :lol

However, we are now fully upgraded in every way possible, from forum software to server software and hardware.

We have now also had someone who specializes in vbulletin server optimization come and take a look at our server, which he was able to tweak quite a bit. He made numerous changes that he said should prove to help quite a significant amount.

I"m taking another poll to see how things are going for you. :D

ETA: The major changes just took effect about 5 minutes ago (6:30pm CST) so please respond only in response to how it's been since then.

Theres been about 6 times today it'll start loading a page and just stop.... :dunno

I've had a lot of trouble loading, it times out a lot.

I've gotten the time out taking to long to connect to the server several times but I swear as soon as I clicked still slow it started moving faster lol

they seem so far to be loading nicely. i got a bit of slowness a few seconds ago when i hit the new post button, but so far no time outs or anything like that.

:edit and the quick reply is posting much faster then before too.

Also, as soon as all of this is definitely fixed up, I will start adding back our features like the chat and arcade. I'm just mainly trying to make sure our server is okay and SLOWLY add back things after making sure that each feature that I add back is fully upgraded and compatible. I don't want any wonky code in there that will make things crash again.

Its 7:11 MST the main page was slow to load for me but the rest seem fine.

Do you recall the time? And which error were you getting?

We're looking into a router problem that was going on earlier, not sure if that was what happened with you or not.

It was around 9:20-9:30 and it just wouldn't load the page at all. Keep saying couldn't find the server. :dunno

2:48am til 2:53am Eastern I was getting the 'Internet explorer cannot display this page' thing. Internet was working elsewhere though. :)

I've gotten several IE can't displays this morning(in the previous 90 minutes or so), but after 2-5 minutes I can load the page again. I was mostly going through the new posts button trying to catch up from last night.
