Hello to All:

My name is Tiffany and obviously I'm new to the site. I was really glad to find this site, b/c I am having a hard time with my boyfriend/fiance' being gone to Marine combat training and having no contact and then leaving for his MOS training and not being able to see him indeffinitely. I am in that limbo stage where we have had "the talk" about the future to where you aren't just bf/gf because you have made future plans about marriage without a ring (is that official), but I still don't know exactly what we are...UGH.... I guess you can say I'm a little gun shy, and have heard some horror stories about relationships and the Marine's not mixing well....How do you keep your mind from wandering into the realm of doubt? I love him, i'm just scared!! Any advice would be WONDERFUL!:sigh

Hey Im Elise and my boyfriend is Elliott also a marine. It is hard being with someone in the service but you have to take every day as it comes. The best advice I can give you is to stay busy and feel free to PM me if you need to talk.

It's so hard....he was in Texas when we decided to do things over....so when he left we didn't get to see each other....so there's just this verbal commitment....i didn't get to look into his eyes when he was telling me all that....however, in my heart I know this time it's right....i just wonder "why now?" Anyway...thanks..I'm going to need advice

that's basically it. he's very secure in the future so i try not to worry about it, if i did i doubt i'd ever have time to do anything but worry.

welcome! i'll tell you one thing...him being away will def. make him realize how much you mean to him and he will want to make plans with you soon enough! lol. i wouldn't rush anything...you know in your heart how you feel and he knows how he feels so time will be perfect for you two. :D
