I wanted to get some opinions on this bed and dresser i'm thinking about getting for my new bedroom.

Here is the bed and dresser:

This is what my new bedroom looks like (all the other furniture will be gone, its the present owners)

But instead of the wood floors, we will have carpet that is this color (the blueish color)

What do you guys think?

I think it would look really nice with the carpet.. what type of linens are you looking at to go with it?

I don't know yet!I haven't gotten that far! MY current bedroom has light blue decorating in it, but i'm not sure how that will look with the darker carpet.

yea i wanted to keep the floors, but they got damaged last week and they can't find the wood to match so it was either get carpet or wait forever. lol. i have the wood floors everywhere else in the house.

Do you necessary need to have that color of carpet? it's harder to find colors to go with the carpet when it's a dark color like that. If you have to keep it I would probably go with light neutral colors or soft blues.

Yea, the picture doesn't really show it good. its a light blueish grey silvery color. it looks darker in the picture.

I like the last one better. It looks more modern and not so serious like the first one even thought the 1st one is beautiful too! but like more serious.

The second one is more of my taste! Very nice! And I'd say even if the floors are damaged, maybe you could do area rugs to cover the damaged areas.

I like the second one better too. It's a little bit more simple. Too bad you can't keep the floors too, they're beautiful and would bring the room together. How were they damaged? Have you talked to a flooring store? I'd do some serious investigating before you cover it up.

Yea the windows leaked during a big storm. We've had everythign fixed, but they can't find wood to match exactly. So we didn't want to have mismatched wood throughout the house.
