Yes, I'm interested in starting scrabooking. Though, I have no clue where to start. Any tips and tricks? and what's the best stuff to start out with?
I'm not really going to start one till after Kev's graduation. I want pictures of him to add in it.

Scrapbook.com has an awesome forum and so does twopeasinabucket.com
if you go there and google starting out or newbie supplies etc.. you will get tons of hits.
I have too much crap to remember what I actually started with besides my Creative memories cutting system which I highly recommend :D

What I would recomend you to start with.
*Paper trimmer, get the 12" one. I started with the 6" one and gave it away and got this one.
*Card stocks, paper, patterned papers.
*Scissors
*two side tape or a glue runner.
*A good glue. I use the Scotch tacky adhesive. Got it at Target for like $3.
*Embellishments to decorate your pages (buttons, ribbons, stickers, anything you might think of.
***Make sure EVERYTHING is Acid and archival free so your memories can really last for ever :) ***
If you want to invest on something very useful and helpful get a die cut machine. I have the "sizzix" got it for like $50 with the Michael's coupon.
There is lot more stuffs but I would start with that. I don't know if I'm forgeting something very important.

Shaky, you almost make me want to start scrapbooking, Sweetie!! Now I know what to start out with, though, if I decide to. LOL!

I agree with the others. CM is a good starter plus their consultants can answer all your questions about the tools, albums and other stuff. Just remember you can shop other places. A good CM consultant will allow you to make your albums your own. The other thing you can do is visit a local scrapbook store. They'll help you get started as well. Best thing to do is to find some friends and scrap with them. Once you start, you'll be addicted!
I've been looking at scrapbooking too! It's not very big over here and it's hard to get supplies. I noticed a site for digital scrapbooking - does anyone do this? Is it much different to paper scrapbooking?

It is very different but still you get to create and save pictures :) it is way cheaper though ;) I personally have to work with the papers and all that but I have attempt to do some digital scrapbooking. I don't know if you know about this site but for digital scrapbooking check this out.. http://www.scrapbook-bytes.com/
