Hi, I am going through my first deployment and I am trying to meet other military spouses that are going through the same thing. He has been gone for 10 days and 6 more months to go. I just need somebody to talk to about this.

I'm just starting to deal with my first deployment too (though it's definitely not the first for my DB). Sigh. And we were already long distance. Deployments are poop.

Welcome. Half the ladies SO are deployed so most of us are going thru or have been thru. My hubby has been gone almost 2weeks with 14.5 months to go. I don't think I'll start counting down till the 6month mark:D

we're all here if you need to talk! we know what you're going through and surely, someone here has some experience to share with you :D.

Don't worry sweetie. You have no idea how strong you are until you have to go through a deployment. This is my 2nd w/ DB although last time we were just friends, so it has changed a bit.
