Ok, so I don't know if I'm the only one this happens to, but its so annoying to me.

I have some cute clothes in the morning, I really like how they look and fit. But somehow, by the end of the day I feel like I look like crap :confused. It's like my body morphs throughout the day, and by the end of the day I feel fatter or more bloated or something, and my clothes stretch out by the end of the day and don't fit or look the same.

Then shopping, I go clothes shopping, find something that fits perfect, and in the morning when I put it on fits totally different :duh. Perfect example, I bought this super cute pair of shorts at Charlotte Russe yesterday, they fit just right, this morning? They are HUGE! :arg Now I'm wearing them, I took off the tags, so now I'm stuck with this pair of denim crops that are way too big even though I do love them.

Sometimes I just hate how my body works :vent

Yeah I hate it when clothes stretch out during the day, some days I'll just be walking into work and I am already having to pull my pants up repeatedly so they don't droop down too low. frustrating!!!

I'm with you. The same thing happens to me. I especially find it difficult with jeans. If they fit perfect in the store, they look like shit after wearing them for a few hours. And when I risk it and buy them too tight... the stay too freaking tight! How does that happen?

Sorry about your shorts. Maybe they'll shrink in the wash and come out just right?

I hate that too! I always tell my Husband, "I love how my stomach looks in the morning, I wish it would stay like that all day." :lol I blame it on bloat from eating and drinking. Not sure if that's the case or not, but I needed to blame something.

That happens to me, but I think it's mental. I will get dressed in the morning and love what I put together, and by the evening, I'm feeling eh about my appearance!
Some clothes def change shape though as the day goes.

I'm the exact opposite. clothes that fit me good in the morning end up baggy on me later on in the day. so i normally pick something thats a little tight and then it ends up fitting perfect after a while.

See I do that sometimes too, but like Kristen, it backfires on me a lot of times and STAYS tight all day, LOL, clothes hate me sometimes

i think part of it is mental and the other part is the fabric! i don't think it's your body.
try getting certain fabrics that aren't prone to stretching out. i know certain jeans i have have become huge and others still fit exactly the same.
but i'm with you, i HATE when my shirts stretch out and look frumpy.

Me too! I think your stomach does look flatter in the morning because it's empty.

most places will still take returns like that, even if you cut the tags off... i know maurice's told my sister that if something stretches out like that the first time wearing it, they'll accept returns without tags.

i have good luck with hydraulic jeans. and i always try to buy jeans with stretch.

Check what your clothes are made out of!!!

if they have a stretchy material (such as spandex) they will stretch out.. and will only go back to the correct size after you wash them.

I recommend only buying clothes that are 100% cotton... or another non stretchy material.

See that is a problem too. I like buying clothes with a little stretch, because they form fit to my body better. I don't have a very large lower half, and regular pants are always too baggy on my butt. I have to get pants with a little bit of spandex on them so they can fit and look just right....

I swear, clothing makers love to TORTURE the hell out of women's self esteem, :vent :hehe
