how early did you girls register for gifts?? df and i are trying to decide when is too early or too late. :dunno

we started registering about 2 months after we got engaged...about 10 months before the actual wedding date.

some people were telling us to wait till closer to the date because you want to make sure the stores still have the products that you registered... :confused

that might be a good idea. i didnt run into that problem, though. we registered at Bed Bath and Beyond, Macy's and Target. I know that a lot of people like to send gifts to your house early on. I dunno, im sure waiting till youre closer to the wedding wont hurt. You can always update the list.

we registered right before our wedding shower, so about 3 months ago, 4 months before the wedding.

we are going to register when df is here for r&r...

so that will be around about 8-9 months before the wedding.

umm we registered 6 months before and we're not quite yet "officially" engaged hahaha

we didn't have a registry, we had a wishing well. I think so long as you have it started by the time you send out your invitations you'll be fine

I was bored. Ours is at walmart because thats the only thing down there and people can ship the gifts to teh walmart for free instead of bring them to the wedding!
