My husband and I are throwing around the idea of having an actual wedding. We just had a quick ceremony by the Justice of the Peace.

My problem is that I would rather wear a tea-length (to the knee) dress rather than a floor length, and I'm wondering if that will look too casual next to his Marines dress uniform.

Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

they are very elegant and classy, but I would personally get something more formal, because I think the uniform calls for something more.

I like #3, BUT if you have big boos it will make your books look bigger/weird in white, but if you have normal boobs or smaller boobs it will look good. Also the big boob rule applies to dress #4. I like number 4! it will look good in color if you have big knockers though.

I definitely don't have big boobs so don't worry about that! :D I'm not wearing white, either. Maybe ivory, but probably a pastel shade of purple or blue.

I love all of them! If you are more comfortable in a tea dress then go for it! It's YOUR day. The mistake I made was trying to please everyone else and do "what was right." You could take a pic of him in uniform and hold it up next to these dresses and see what you think. For me, it would be a little informal, but I like formal full-length. If you want to go for tea-length, do it!

I would love it if some miracle of a dress made my boobs look big.. :hehe Yeah, there will definitely be some dancing. If not, I'm getting new friends.

I like 1, 3 and 4, 4 is probably my favorite though because it looks really clean and simple but definitely classy. 2 is a little too casual, I think. Hope this helps :) goodluck

The dresses are great and I'm a fan of the tea length but it's a little informal for dress blues. But like another poster said it is your wedding.
