so i am going to my appointment here pretty soon =) im super excited. im not getting a sonogram or anything.. its just my first one where i meet with the nurse and stuff.. thank you ladies for all of your support =)

Some women show early, some don't. Each pregnancy is also different. I'm about 11 weeks along and I'm still not showing at all. With DD's pregnancy I was starting to look like I had a newfound doughnut fettish at this point. I am so tiny that those who really know me were the only ones who could tell. Most people just thought I was becoming a normal size through my first trimester and the first half of my second trimester. I didn't start to get a real baby bump until the second half of my pregnancy. By the end it was hard to miss though. I really put on weight the third trimester. So who knows, you will grow how ever your body decides to.

Good luck today! Maybe they will do an ultrasounds since you aren't sure of dates. I am just now starting to show and I am 17 weeks preg. with number 4. I showed early w/ my DD and she was my second, but all the others it was much later. I think each time is just different.

My best friend started to show super early in her pregnancy...but she also admitted that she had always sucked in or held in her belly...which I think all women do...and when she found out she was pregnant she just gave up holding it in :D so she had a little pooch really early on...like 8 weeks or so

:goodluck I showed right away and thought I was further along than I was because I showed right around 9 weeks :wow but it just sometimes depends on the person. Pregnancy is different for everyone...no 2 are alike either :)

It could be bloat. I know I was so bloated at the beginning of this pregnancy. I am now convinced my bloat is all gone and my itty bitty bump is baby:) Good luck at your apt!

Sounds like the bloat. I hate it because when it goes away, it's sorta a let down at times. Hopefully the doctor can put to ease your worries.

Im jealous that you have that kind of relationship with your mom like that. Mine and I don't talk bout those type of things.
