Do you think you get more phobias when you as you get older...? I know a lady who as she's gotten older...she's gotten more and more anixous and nervous...she can't do things she used to do anymore because she has an attack...
and i've noticed that as i've gotten older i've become more nervous and anxious about things that i used to have no problem doing...like heights and being in small rooms...it's not affecting me to the point that i can't do it...but just something i've noticed..
so i wonder..do you think you get more phobias or anxious as you get older..?

My OCD gets more severe as I get older, with that so does my phobias.

Well as we get older we start to lose the "nothing will ever happen to me " feelings. Like kids think they can do anything and they won't get hurt. I get nervous about stuff that used to not bother me. But its stuff like being in a car when someone is driving to fast, not heights or small rooms or anything else like that.

i'm SUPER paranoid about running out of gas. like, oooooooomg. i have a panic attack if it gets below 1/4 of a tank, and if/when it does, i check the gas gauge every 30 seconds or so and note how much it's moved and try to estimate how many miles until i run out / get to the nearest station. :lmao
eta: i used to drive with the gas light on when i was in high school. :rofl

I agree that as we age we lose that " I will live forever" attitude ...ahh youth wasted on the young
