I've been in sort of a funk all day. But ever since I got home it's been so much worse. I feel like I have the flu, cold and then hot, kind of like I have a fever (but we don't have a thermometer so I don't know) and I keep having to go to the bathroom every 15 minutes but it's coming out of the back end not the front. I seriously feel awful. My husband's going to be on post all night so I have no one here.

I had diarrhea to go along with my morning sickness the first two months of this pregnancy, and the first four of the last one.

I'm sorry! :hugs Get some pedialyte and drink it like it's going out of style...it keeps you hydrated better than water and doesn't have all the sugar of gatorade.

thanks for the tip. I never would have thought of that. Yeah, I called into work and they said that if I'm feeling that sick that they don't want me to come in, since I work at a daycare and would run the risk of getting the kids sick.

well I started feeling alot worse and I was in alot of pain (although it didn't feel like cramping, it felt more like really bad gas) so I went to the ER Thursday morning. They told me that they didn't think there was anything wrong with the baby (although they couldn't find him/her on a sonogram, but she thinks that my dr was wrong about the dates and it's just to early to tell unless they did it vaginally. Which makes sence since I haven't seen an OB yet and my cycle's so irregular). First they said that I have the flu which doesn't make any sence because I have no flu like symptoms so I guess the just meant a stomach flu. They prescribed me imodium and phenergan (which I'm still taking both when I only absolutely need it because I'm paranoid about medications) and sent me home with the instructions to get lots of rest and drink lots of fluids. I'm feeling much better but I am still REALLY tender in my lower abdomin, more so than usual. My MIL thinks it's because there was so much pressure in that area when I was sick that my body's finally starting to relax which is going to leave it tender. I hope she's right, but I'm still paranoid about it. :lol

i think your abdomen is really tender from all of the diarrhea...you have a lot of tension in there and also all the pushing while you're going makes your abs hurt. atleast, that's how it is with me. :hugs

Stomach flu - I can see that. I was sick with all sorts of stupid, annoying stuff when I was pregnant. Like my body's immune system just took a vacation. One thing was a nasty cough that just never went away - ended up with pulled ab muscles...So listen to your Dr's - when they say "bed rest and drink fluids" then do it :tu Don't be like me and challenge their knowledge every chance you get only :lol (Something I'm still regretting)
Lay around, watch tv and nap - enjoy that because it'll be the last chance you get to do it for the next 19 years.
