So, I was bored and saw on another board this title... Thought it was pretty cute to discuss. I, personally, have gotten a lot of compliments on my daughter's name, Breanna Nicole. So, what are your favorite, timeless names.... Does not matter if you used them or not... Just wanna know what you like...

Some really good ones! I always loved Sophia, but will probably never use it...I also used to love Elizabeth, but my SIL has that name and her bad addictions have left a bad taste with me now... Always thought Mae was cute, or Ava...

Love names with Anne in it... My g-ma's middle name is Ann, so all the grand-girls have Ann in it. My middle name is Leann, and so that is why we have Breanna. Liked Breanne, but DH was more into Breanna.

Charlotte (L) that name. our issue is our last name doesn't really go with many traditional names.

Hmm I like old fashioned names. I've always fancied Rose, Ava & Tommy. Have yet to have kids, but if/when I do these names will be put forward..to hell what my DB thinks. Ha, Rose sounds so crap with his surname, so maybe some rethinking will be in order. He likes Terence. Come on..it's a dogs name for gods sake!

Charlotte (L) that name. our issue is our last name doesn't really go with many traditional names.

I hear ya, with our last name, a lot of names worked.. but I was deadset on naming her after my great grandma and I wanted something with a "scotch" feel to the name to match our last name.. I just couldn't do the traditional Cameron for a little girl though...

Plus, I'm a big fan of Camryn Manheim.. I think she's a good role model, and shows that you don't have to be "thin" to be successful.

I really like Teagan...

Were we to ever have another baby (we're done, btw) the name would either be Connor for a boy, or Cyra (kee-ra) for a girl... Cyra is an irish saint..

For a boy.. I honestly have no idea.. I may just let DB choose it? :teehee

We thought about Catherine Elizabeth for my DD but those are my sister and Mum's names so we thought that was a little one-sided. She still got Elizabeth as a middle name though :)

I'm really not into many "classic" names, but a few I guess are classic that I like are Danielle, Margaret, Mary, Marie, and Stella.
We have a Kylee Mikay (not classic at all)
and we are planning to name this baby Auriana... considering Danielle or Mary/Marie as a middle name

I'm partial to Charlotte. :D That's our DD's name. A second daughter will be Violet and a boy will be Issac Jonathan.

I love really old names you don't hear so much anymore.

I already have a "Breanna Nicole" but when I get pregnant again, her name is going to be Kailey Erinn and if it's a boy, it's going to be Jonathan David ..... hopefully 2009 will bring 1 of those names into our family!!

Charlotte (L) that name. our issue is our last name doesn't really go with many traditional names.

DB loves Charolotte...but would want to call her Charly or Chuck...he he...which I would NOT allow!!

I love Claire...its my very favorite name!! Thank goodness DB likes it because I would be crushed if I couldn't name my little girl Claire.

But more recently I have gotten attached to the name McKinley Claire...(L) it

My DD has a classic first name: Lydia (she was named after my grammy), I'm pleasantly surprised so many people love that name, we were worried it might be too old fashioned. Her middle name is my MIL's maiden name: Hart. I dunno, as soon as we heard them both together: Lydia Hart, it just sounded right and it really suits her :yes.

Now if I can just come up with a good boy's name for Cube (our nickname for new baby), we'll be set!
