What color is that on your walls? I love it!

Ours is similar to Gina's. There is a lot we still need to do though, the biggest being to hang our drapes. :lol We're also going to hang another shelf above the tv and that's where that plant is going to go. We used to have a huge armoire there that the old tv was in, so that's why there's so much wall space. The picture of the table is an old shot, right now it's covered with all my cookie crap. :lol

and really, excuse the mess and the fact that I need to dust like 10 years ago. :lol

The only room I am going to show you is my living room. We have only lived here for a couple months, so it's still pretty bare. My next project is painting, so that's why the walls are still so boring.

Yeah, I haven't strayed from the living room/kitchen area because everywhere else is piled up with boxes!

I have all mix-matched furniture. We have a black futon with a wood and black metal frame, a blue papasan chair, a brown suede papasan chair, a huge 61" tv and a fish tank...haha.

my hosue looks like three femail college students combined their stuff and made it work:P
our kitchen has a country theme its blue with sunflowers and has a bunch of those old metal signs for like tractors and wheelbarrows and stuff (2 of the three of us moved in first and we are both country girls:P)

my bathroom is all hawaiin and so is my roomates room

my style is "space maximizing" because my place is a 20 x 10 mother in law's studio. basically, it's just a room separate from the house where my roommate's rooms are. i use the kitchen & bathroom in the house.

i've got my place set up kinda dorm room style. the door is about midway down the longest wall. to the right is my queen bed. at the foot of the bed is a 6ft closet rod. instead of a nightstand, i have a "towel tower" from linens n things. it's holding bath stuff in the bottom & sweaters in the top. directly in from the door is my desk. to the left is my futon, which i have under bed boxes underneath holding clothes i don't wear as often. across from the futon in my tv & 6 drawer dresser. i may put a minifridge between the tv & dresser, but i dunno where my floor lamp would sit then. between the futon & desk is a storage ottoman that i use as an end table. it came with another ottoman inside it, so that i use for an extra seat, ottoman, or coffe table like. i may get risers for under my bed so i can do more underbed storage there.

it may be a lil different...but i really like it. i get the benefits of having roommates (i estimate it to be around a $300/mth savings) but i have my own private space for when i want it & for when db is over. we don't have to worry about being noisy, cuz i don't share any walls with the roommates. ;)

Right now my house is only what I could call "Austin Powers" but I'm in the begining stages of the remodel so I'll post pics when I get done.

I am a modern contemporary kind of girl. I love funky furniture... Not 80's dance club funky, more like interesting pieces kinda of funky. I am working on my living room, so no pics yet. My family room is more classic old world style. Harvest colors, shag rug, mirrors, lots of wood and candles. BIG furniture. That is my comfy room. My kitchen was very 50's diner style (red, black, stainless steel) until we moved in here. I still have all of my stuff, the house itself just doesn't match it very well. :giggle I will have a lot more freedom when we actually buy a house. No set plans for the bedroom yet. I love stripes and modular stuff though, so we will see where I end up with that. LOL.
