lol
If a house is not considered an investment- I would buy one, as well as some fancy ass furniture. :) Also, a hybrid car and a killer wardrobe (for my whole family, of course).
HEIDI 05-23-2008, 02:56 AM Get my dd's tattoo removed, A house, a new car, a whole new wardrobe, and see a good plastic surgeon for myself!!! (I want a lift, nip, & tuck)
RakasansGirl 05-23-2008, 02:59 AM id blow a good chunk on my nephews, buy my sister a bigger house, get me a new car and take DB on a lonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg vacation
Valkyrie 05-23-2008, 03:06 AM A house and bird sanctuary.
Pay off bills and split the rest between the SPCA & Wounded Warriors.
thatmarinesgirl 05-23-2008, 03:11 AM first I would give 10% to charity, casue I promised God if I ever won alot I would do that first. I m not needing to be struck by lighting...ok then I would buy a hybrid suv, I need the room for all of us. Then buy Df his car, and then we would get married asap, buy a house next to base, cause I am sure he would not be gettin out, cause we won a million. then buy my mom a house and his mom a house, buy his mom a business, my mom a business. then get my kids set up, by then there wont be much left, a million isnt much anymore... rest in the bank till me and df decide what kind of biz we want.
oh almost forgot buy a devil dog and pet insurance for her...:)
HanlonsGirl828 05-23-2008, 03:37 AM New House, New Cars, New wardrobe. Give my parents a chunk of it to help them out (new cars, pay off debt, ect.). Pay to have our dream wedding :) Uhhmm.. IDK I usually only spend money on things I absolutely need, I'm really picky with how I spend my money! But since I have so much and only 24 hours to spend it then... I still don't know haha. I guess whatever DB or I want or think we'll need in our lifetime hah :shrug
OneSailorsGirl25 05-23-2008, 03:43 AM The first bit would go to hire a lawyer to help my dh get custody of his other two kids. Then I'd work at paying off our house and car, my school loans. Give another portion to my siblings for their families, based more on need than on splitting it equally though. For example, one of my sisters has 10 kids, and is int he process of totally remodeling their entire house, all on their own, and my other sister has one kid, and just needs to pay off their mortgage, so obviously I'd give the first sis more to finish her house, and pay of my other sis's house for her. My brother would get some to settle his debt, and maybe pay for a few surgeries for my SIL.
I believe in charity and all, but I'm going to help my family first, so, if there is any money left after all that, and my hubby gets the toys he wants,(a new bike) I would use the rest of the money to help start my husband's dream organization for men who have lost all parental rights to their children because of greedy exwives. Basically it would provide them with topnotch lawyers to help them win back rights, and lower child support.
MissOHara 05-23-2008, 03:44 AM pay off bills/loans, buy a couple cars and get mom mom new furniture/a new car. I'd buy her a house, but thats technically an investment.
pennylayne 05-23-2008, 03:44 AM shoes. new studio lighting, a hot hybrid, a marketing crap, new living room and patio furniure, a swingset for the kids and disney crusie to the mediterainian, a hit on my MIL, a prepaid gas card, a anew stove, a dvdr, a mac desktop, a new wordrobe for me and the kids, a amakeover for dh, Tickets to a chourus line, wicked, legally blonde, and phantom, a date with Matt cedona, and whatever was left over I'd give to cancer reaserch centers of amaerica.

My mom used to work for a firm that does exactly this! It's totally their mission, and they have helped SOO many guys! And the wives are freaking psycho!
It's called "Divorce For Men Only" it's in Walnut Creek, Ca. They do a lot of ProBono, and a LOT of out of state, as long as they are familiar with it.

Lckychrmzz 05-23-2008, 02:17 PM Can I pay off my house? Can I put the money somewhere to save for a boob job after I have the baby? I'd get both DH and I new cars and the rest of the baby stuff. I'd get new doors interior and exterior for the house and remove the paneling and popcorn ceiling in my living room. I'd get a hot tub and build a deck.
nutmagc 05-23-2008, 05:43 PM I would first buy my mom her dream house. Then I would go shopping. I'd get Lasik eye surgery. I'd get a breast augmentation. A house for me and DH. House furniture. Jewelry.

Catobugg 05-23-2008, 07:46 PM If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a house (I would buy you a house)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you furniture for your house
(Maybe a nice chesterfield or an ottoman)

I'd buy you a K-Car (a nice Reliant automobile)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love.
If I Had $1000000
I'd build a tree fort in our yard.
If I Had $1000000
You could help, it wouldn't be that hard.
If I Had $1000000
Maybe we could put put a little tiny fridge in there somewhere
([Talking:] We could just go up there and hang out.
Like open the fridge and stuff, and there'd be foods laid out for us
With little pre-wrapped sausages and things. Mmmmm.
They have pre-wrapped sausages but they don't have pre-wrapped bacon.
Well can you blame them. Yeah)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a fur coat (but not a real fur coat that's cruel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you an exotic pet (Like a llama or an emu)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you John Merrick's remains (All them crazy elephant bones)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love
If I Had $1000000
We wouldn't have to walk to the store
If I Had $1000000
We'd take a limousine 'cause it costs more
If I Had $1000000
We wouldn't have to eat Kraft Dinner.
(But we would eat Kraft Dinner. Of course we would, we'd just eat more.
And buy really expensive ketchup with it.
That's right, all the fanciest Dijon Ketchup. Mmmmmm.)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a green dress (but not a real green dress, that's cruel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you some art (a Picasso or a Garfunkel)
If I Had $1000000 (If I Had $1000000)
I'd buy you a monkey (haven't you always wanted a monkey?)
If I Had $1000000 I'd buy your love
If I Had $1000000, If I Had $1000000
If I Had $1000000, If I Had $1000000
I'd be rich.
flangl18 05-23-2008, 07:48 PM First would be buying a house and setting aside money for my kids college - investment? Eh, depends how you look at it. Then I would probably find who needs my help the most or if I need to set up my own charity.
