Is there anyone out there that has had someone graduate from OSUT-Infantry training and be in the National Guard?:

I am getting ready to book my flight to go to graduation June 25-28 from OSUT training(Infantry). The original letter that was sent home said that they have the turning blue, with free time after. The next day they have grafuation- Then they are free after graduation and travel day would be on Saturday. :dunno
My boyfriend has said after talking to someone official - that the National Guard guys will have a bus waiting for them right after graduation is over to take them to the airport. Is this true? :confuzzle
This is really stressing me out because I do not know what day to make my return flight home. :depressed

Thank you in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!

OKay I am doing the EXACT same thing right now. I am flying out to my dh's National guard osut on the 28th. I leave on the 30th (grad day) yes, he will immediatly be put on a bus....BUT that does not mean he will be leaving right away at the airport. My dh's flight does not leave untill 5:00 pm. My flight leaves at 3:51 so I will just beat him home. Grad for me ends at 11ish I think. Then the rental car is due at the atlanta airport at 2:51. There were no earlier flights but since atlanta is about two hours from benning the timing is not that bad. You wont see your so after grad (so I have been told) so as soon as you think you can get to the airport schedule your flight for one hour later. That way you can account for traffic and such. Hope that helps! pm me if you need any more info!
