Any ideas on how to cut costs??? Shaky 05-24-2006, 07:34 PM If you are into digital scrapbooking that would save you loooots of money. If not, try ebay or swaping stuffs with some friends. Wal mart has some stuffs for good price. sunshyne 05-24-2006, 07:36 PM walmart has some nice stuff for reasonable prices and if you have a Michaels near by sometimes they have good coupons for 40% off. I used to by alot of stuff off of ebay too. Amber V 05-24-2006, 07:37 PM Try some $1 stores or places like Big Lots. lovinmyMA2 05-24-2006, 07:40 PM Go to different sites as well. I have bought some stuff off craigslist, freecycle, ebay, and swap stuff with friends. If you are looking at Creative Memories they have some good sales and if you have an awesome consultant, sometimes they are even better. I have mostly CM suff but also buy at Wal*Mart, Big Lots, Michaels, and other little shops. Oh and if you know someone who has a sizzix or if you buy one they are really cool! My MIL has one and makes different shapes and whatnot and sends them to me. If ya ever wanna trade something, I may be up for it. Shaky 05-24-2006, 08:03 PM I have the sizzix. It is originally around $90 but I got it with the Michael's coupon so I only paid around $40something. I've got sooo much with those coupons! they are a life saver :) CoffeeGirl 05-24-2006, 08:05 PM Target has LOADS of cute things for scrapbooking too:yes Breezy 05-24-2006, 08:38 PM I agree with the $$1 stores and I never buy anything at full price Do you have a joanns near you if so sign up for thier mailing list luvmysailor2001 05-24-2006, 08:41 PM buy only what you need and scrap to use it before buying more. I have a paper fettish :giggle I've bought so much stuff and right now I really need to just sit, scrap and use it before I buy more LOL The initial cost can be a little much but after that it nickel and dimes you to death. Afterall a 12x12 piece of paper is only about $.60-.80 so you can actually spend $10 and get alot for that LOL galxy8 05-24-2006, 11:58 PM I have a paper fetish, too. Probably why I'm afraid to start scrapbooking. LOL! MW5M 05-25-2006, 12:55 AM :agree with all of the above, clip the coupons. If you have a big Joanns near you, they carry tons of stuff too, and you can get AWESOME coupons from them. Just sign up for their newsletter :D wolfspawprint 05-25-2006, 09:28 AM I can sell you a used Sizzix Machine and set of dies for cheap. ;) Its only been lightly used (I bought a new machine). |
