Hey everyone!! How is everyone doing today?
So who here had a DH at Fort Jackson?
Mine is there now, and I was wondering what hotels/motels are around- and what is to do down there.
What is graduation like?

DH was at Ft Jackson during BCT. I stayed at the Days Inn about 10 mins from there. Perfect place to say during family day/grad. Google days inn, and you'll find the one right by the fort. Hope I helped.

I stayed at Best Western-Fort Jackson. It was close to the base. I just got back from the graduation. It was awesome! I loved family day also. It was very emotional and wonderful. You will have a great time!

My DH is there right now and graduates on June 13th. I leave in 2 weeks!!!!
I just got reservations to stay at the Jameson Suites. It's supposed to be 10 minutes from base. I called Victory Travel and booked the room through them. It does save a little money doing it that way.

Victory travel does save you money. I also saved money by flying into North Carolina and Taking a shuttle to South Carolina but I was coming all the way from Michigan. Both days were fun Just short. you don't get enough time with them at least that's the way it felt. have fun and enjoy your time.

it was abt 10 miles from the post.
i would recommend it.

Thanks ladies, I had no idea what was down there... I have seen pictures on the website but you never really know.. ya know what I mean? I figured the best and safest way was Word of Mouth :)
