Is there anyone (besides me and Kristen) actually in and around this area? I'd love to make some summer beach trips to the Dam Neck base and perhaps the Oceana waterpark (never been there yet) but everyone seems so far away from this area. Driving across the HRBT sucks since I'm ALL the way on the other side of VaBch, clear down by North Carolina.

For instance the beach plans for Chesapeake Bay...the distance is simply too far for me (at least 30 minutes, and that's with stoplight luck :lol) during the weekdays since I'm a school tether.

I live off of Harpers Road. I can walk to the NEX.

The line is a mile away, but I'm further. I'm literally in the very southeast corner of Virginia Beach, about 3-4 miles down the road from the Dam Neck base.

Sweet! Summer officially kicks off for us on June 13th, my Daughter's last day of school. :D I purposely didn't buy waterpark passes because I want to utilize the beach and pool this summer. The pool needs to wait awhile longer because the water is freaking 64 degrees...screw that. :lol

I live in Suffolk on the Franklin side. Unfortunatley there is not alot to do out this way so we have to travel to the beach and such! The Oceana water park sounds neat. I did not even know there was one. Just PM me. Monica

You live closer to where my sister lives. She lives in Franklin and I have some cousins and my Uncle that live in Franklin too.
