I saw this on someone's siggy: "*And ever has it been that love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation. That is SO very true, at least for me! For the most part, as hard as this deployment is for me, I feel its bringing me closer to him - because I realize how lucky I am and how special he is (even when I want to throttle him... :teehee :teehee).

What positive things are you taking out of this deployment?

I got to come home and spend more time with my family.

I know its cliche - but the phrase "Absence makes the heart grow fonder" really applies! This is our first major separation and I'm realizing how deep my feelings are for my DB. By the tone of his emails, I think he is realizing it too! This deployment will make our relationship stronger and we'll know we can get thru tough times together! (L):smitten

I have known DF for a very long time now... but not until now, the second deployment that I'm learning how much I really love him. He was just home on R&R and seeing him and our daughter so happy together made me fall in love with him all over again. I really appreciate what this deployment has made me see.
