For a 3 month old to begin teething? :dunno

Something's up with DS and he's exhibiting the tell tale signs of teething...I looked it up on the internet but didn't find much. I realize most babies get teeth between 6 & 9 months, but I really don't know what else it could be. :thinking He doesn't have a fever, but everything else - the other signs - are there.

I know, every day it's another parenting question :lol Yes, I've been through it before, and no I don't remember much of it.

My son's first two teeth popped out at 4 months, and he started teething at about 3 months.

My MIL told me Dh had 3 teeth by the time he was 3 months. Madison started teething at about 3 months, but no teeth came in until 5 months.

Cool. That was quick :) What I was reading online made it seem seriously abnomal for my 3 month old to be teething.

And by the way Jordan, love your username quote :giggle

I think Tandis already had a tooth at 3 months, but I can't really remember if it was just coming through or just starting. Either way it was hell.

I feel ya! Just when I'm starting to try to gather some semblance of a routine for him...he's a miserable, drooling mess :( poor boy. We're talking REAL TEARS here!!

Both DS & DD both started teething at 3 months, took forever for DD's teeth to actually come thru though. Good luck!

Liam had two teeth by four months, but I have no idea how common that is for most babies. I'm sorry you're having a hard time. :hugs

Early teething can happen. My son started teething right around 3 months and had his first two bottom incisors by June 12th, he was 4 and 1/2 months old. I remember it vividly because we discovered his teeth on my wedding day (June 12th). He had most of his teeth, including his 2 year molars, by the time he was 15 months old. My cousin's oldest daughter also had her first two teeth in around 4 to 5 months old. Both of our early teethers started losing baby teeth when they were 4.

Both my kids had teething symptoms at 3 months, but no teeth ever broke through... Could be just the pain of them moving up and not just from breaking through.
