i really do
but i am SO jealous of everyone whos So's are coming home early..or getting r and r early
its not even jealousy for me its for DB(a little for me but mostly for him)
by the time he gets back 30 out of the last 36 months will have been spent in teh desert. i keep reading threads about others who are pondering being extended and thinking DB would do it because thats who he is but isnt it time he got some time at home...?
im sorry
im admitting my weakness
i just want this whole thing to be over
i want to go back to the world we had before the war. im so tired of thousands of people a month being torn apart from their loved ones because of the war.
ive worn a bracelet with a yellow ribbon on it since my first friend went to Iraq 6 years ago and i have yet to take it off the reason for that? i refuse to take it off until my last loved one comes home...and it has yet to happen. im just so tired. our country is tired.
there really is no point to this thread other then just to get all these random thoughts out :(

Hang in there girlie, it will be over soon. At the beginning of DB's deployment I didn't think I could do it and now it is 11 months and 3 weeks later...and there is the light at the end of the tunnel. It will get easier, I promise.;)

I understand I was a little jealous to of people who got early R&R's but then I figured out I liked having a later one better.I am currently jealous of the soldiers that are coming home before my boyfriend even though he deployed before them because the army never seems to do things in order. Hang in there and everything will work out.

:wow why has he spent close to three years there?? that hardly seems right.

I have done the math and out of 7.5 years in the Corps my husband has been over there for 4 years of his life... but it wasn't all at once.

two deployments with only 6 months in between he volunteered to go back so quickly because they needed his MOS
