I used to live in the suburbs of Detroit and Ann Arbor........

I haven't really missed it much until lately.....alot of my friends from college and high school seem to be moving back to the area........

hey I LOVE LOVE mt pleasant! I will actually be visiting there in 2 weeks- all my familiy lives there-

I am even trying to decide if I want to go to intricate decor to get inked again. ( I do every time I go home :))

Is there anyone else from the Michigan area that is going through their first deployment...or a deployment?

I just look at the locations board and see all the people who live in Virginia and NJ and how they have outings each month...and it would be nice to get a group going in Michigan...since I am having a tough time with this deployment, and NO ONE that I know really has any clue about what it's like.

Let me know if anyone else is interested in something like that...

I grew up in Western Michigan on the Lake (Lake Michigan) and went to Michigan State University for college. I moved to Washington D.C. 3 years ago and have been here ever since. But I go back to visit my family every couple months.

I am from Toledo, so close enough to michigan!
