Why is the last day of school always kinda sad? Robbie has had the best teachers in Pre K and I am surely gonna miss seeing them every day. They really worked hard with him and were very understanding with his ADHD and tried their very best and I will really miss them.

I also wanted to say how proud I am that they were his teacher and also the fact that he had perfect attendance the whole entire school year.

I dont know how many others of you feel that way. I dont know why its affecting me this much. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that we will be moving in August and I wont even run into them somewhere.

I totally know where you're coming from! It probably doesn't help much that your 'baby' is going to be in Kindergarten next year... that's why I was sad on ds last day!

oh I know and part of me is a bit worried about him transitioning to another new school and trying to make new friends. His main problem is the social skills and talking to the teachers. He at first wouldnt interact much with the kids but he got over that. I just hope he is going to be ok in Kinder. And you are right he is my very last baby and part of me hates to see him grow up.

Cat, can you get him into a play group this summer? I started a playgroup with the bunch of the kids from Kaneo's PreK class so that he can continue on with the age appropriate interaction through the summer. I wish I would have thought about something like this for mds and dd when they were this age. Mds really could have used the social interaction during the summer from someone other than dd.

You are right about Jessica & Celina! They are amazing people! I am so proud to be able to call them my friends! (L)

Me though, I am having the opposite thoughts! While I am sad school is ending, I am more bummed that I need to find stuff to keep the kids occupied! lol I am super excited DH will be home though even briefly! I just have a whirlwind of emotions!

well i had thought about putting him back in his old daycare/preschool for a few hours a day just for him to get the social interaction but this was one of the places that kicked him out and I dont know if they would take him back even for a few hours a day.

I wish that we were in the same area... I think our boys would have great time together (not to mention the fun we could have!).
