How long was your SO's boot camp??

hubby just informed me that some people have longer/ shorter boot camps depending on their division.... :thinking

Exactly 2 months.

8 weeks:yes

8 weeks, it depends on when they get there, my dh got there on a thursday so they rushed him through his p-days, if they get there earlier in the week its more like 9 so their p-days are a full week.

& sometimes theres not enough people for a division so they're on hold for awhile. before they actually start.

and then it all depends if they get ASMO'd too for not passing battlestations or getting hurt or sick.

8 weeks. the only reason i've ever heard longer is if they fail something or if they don't have many people in their camp and they wait an extra week to graduate with more people. :dunno but i am no navy guru.

8 weeks. I have never heard of it being shorter or longer, unless they didn't have enough people or they got left behind so to speak.

I know DB is going to be graduating on his 8th week there (I counted!:teehee). So I'll go with the other ladies on that. I've only heard of them being there longer if they didn't pass their PT test the second time. :dunno

12 weeks at Navy OCS

DH was there for an extra week. He was honor guard - so they added a week so his division could do honor guard stuff for graduations, baseball games, etc. So maybe it was just the honor guard division. :dunno

Mine was 8 weeks!
