I got two letters from DB yesterday. Which was nice since I had missed his call on Sunday due to our lack of internet and my dad just HAVING to have vonage. So anyways I was reading his letter and I read the following in the first one: "...then we went to the small arms range and I got sharpshooter!! So now I have two ribbons on my uniform!" At this point I was basically like :yahoo so I start reading the next letter and it said: "Oh yeah, I got a medal and another ribbon!" :thumbsup He's doing so well and I'm so proud of him for getting a medal and 3 ribbons! I only have two more weeks and then I get to see him!! :yay

But yeah, I was just so excited and I told him how proud I was of him and how I was going to gush about him doing so well! Just wanted to share that with all of you!

aw yay. at least your db was glad he got sharpshooter, my dh was all ticked because he didnt get expert because the magazine or whatever got stuck. :lmao men & their excuses. but he really is a good shot so i know why he was mad.

Yeah I thought that DB would get expert because he's been shooting guns his whole life. But I'm glad he got what he did.

That is so good!! On a side note... my hubby just did his qualifications and shot 26/40 and I shall never let him live it down because when I went through basic I shot 39/40 :D Glad you got letters and he is doing so well!!
