do any of you have one? what's a good one to get? The tympanic thermometer I have is a POS so I want to get a forehead one...

This is the one we have. It's a HELL of a lot cheaper now, than it was when we bought it a couple of years ago :lol It has worked great for us :)

Very. They are supposed to be as accurate as rectal.

I have that same one and it is the only one I use now. It is very accurate and so much easier then other thermometers.

How old are your kids? I'd love to use that one for my son, but, he's only 7 months..

im sure it would work for a 7 month old- according to the site, its super easy

It's EASIER for young babies. All you do is run it over their forehead... Easier than trying to get a rectal or an ear temp.

I've had mine for more than a couple of years. I bought it when my 3 year year old was an infant and that's all I've used on him, my 2 year old and my 5 year old since.

Thats the same 1 we have. WOW its half the price now LOL

Ours is VERY accurate

I know! We paid almost $60 for it on sale at the time! :lol
