My husband is just the greatest man to me!!!!! :D

He's been gone 2 weeks, and I have had a smile on my face every day, no tears.
We are just doing our best to be stable and happy and supportive... our phone calls are the best and he leaves me sooo happy by the time we hang up. And I'm actually ok with hanging up, first deployment that's happened :)

Anyways, stay positive out there, it works!

Thanks ladies!
I decided awhile ago being negative about it all doesn't get either of us anywhere! Ya know, you still get sad here and there, but just embracing our life as is!

Very true! I do take a day about once a month to just let it out, you know, glass of wine, sappy music and a good cry, then shake it off and start all good again lol Being positive actually helps the time goes by easier and quicker :)

Oh yes! If I'm really feeling it, I give myself a 24 hour pity party. But then I have to pick back up and be positive. I just feel so much healthier this way. I def do have a bad day every now and then though! I also think that after 3 years of him in and out, I'm just plain used to it now.

That's how I approached this deployment as well! It really did wonders. Had a few weak moments, but for the most part it was relatively stable!!!!

I'm glad things are going well so far!!! :hugs I'm proud of you Elizabeth!!!!
