We're heading there in September and trying to figure out transportation issues. Does the tube run from Stansted airport to downtown London? or will we need to take a cab? What about from downtown London to the LDS temple in Newchapel Surrey? Does the train run from Surrey to Plymouth?

well hello there!!

So what you need to do is get the Stansted express from the airport and this will bring you directly into central London to Liverpool Street station.
