Do you expose your babies or children to all different kind of animals?

We do a lot of dog events but this weekend he got to meet a llama and a horse. We want him to meet all kinds of animals so that he doesnt have any fears about them.

:yes We had a petting zoo in my hometown that I would take my kids to all of the time!

I am glad I am not the only one...I just dont want him to be scared of animals when he gets older.

We have taken DD to a petting zoo and the regular zoo and she has ridden a pony. she LOVES animals. And of course, she's petted and gotten excited over all sorts of dogs and cats.

so far just dogs, but i plan to do a petting zoo/zoo trip here soon!

That is the plan. DB & I are both suckers for animals & have had dogs, cats, snakes and various other animals so we will be making sure the baby feels comfortable around them. Insects I can do without but the rest are important :lol

yes...we take him to the zoo to see and pet all the animals, Dh shows him the lizards outside and lets him touch them lol. Of course he has a kitten and a puppy.

For those with older children, do you find doing this makes them not have a fear of animals?
