dh and i were thinking of moving out there [we currently live in norfolk in a duplex and hate every second of it]

the only downside to us moving into housing is we're only paying $780 a month for rent, and in housing they'd take all our BAH so we'd basically pay $1200 a month for our housing..

Is that housing for the Annex? If so, I'd think that'd be a drive and a half....

When researching, I came up with St. Juliens Creek Annex. But there is also the US Navy Northwest Radio Station and Naval Auxiliary Landing Field Fentress. I'm not too familiar with where the housing areas are exactly, as they might be in BFE...LOL!!!

LOL! well my girlfriend Ashley lives out there and i visited her once.. it's about 25 minutes from NOB..

her DH is stationed at NOB so i don't see why we couldn't be out there if she's out there...

but she hasn't been online lately [she just had a baby and her laptop is broken] otherwise i'd ask her some questions..
