Anyone use them? How are they for reducing static? Do they really make your towels fluffier, even over time as the fluff wears off the towels?

Do they really make your towels fluffier, even over time as the fluff wears off the towels? Peekaboo2487 06-02-2008, 02:33 PM My dad and step mom use them. I don't do my laundry over there much but when I do, it doesn't seem any different than if I were to throw in a fabric softener. USNIwife 06-02-2008, 02:42 PM we have a set. I wouldn't say they make things fluffier in my opionon - - but they do eliminate the use of a dryer sheet and have lasted practically forever. chely7425 06-02-2008, 03:16 PM I have heard they are really good.. and that they cut down on drying time? Dunno really.. I am considering getting some to try out once we move! eelo 06-02-2008, 09:15 PM Okay now, the subject is "Dryer balls," and I was going to suggest using talcum powder. But hey, whatever. :D ilovekale 06-02-2008, 09:26 PM we have them and one dried up and broke in half. haha. that was like three loads after we bought it. and i also didn't see a diff. in the loads. it just tumbles in there and makes noise in the smaller loads. lol. USCGBoxerMom 06-02-2008, 09:31 PM If you want to fluff stuff up you can use new tennis balls. You would still have to use fabric softner though. Cassaundra 06-02-2008, 09:37 PM My mom has the dryer balls and it does wonders! i love them..it really reduces static. Eelo, you are too crazy! Talcum powder make schweaty balls dryer!
