So pretty much after my DF is done with his graduation, is their a possibility that he and I can married at a courthouse? Even if he's a grad n go?

DH and I got married on his leave after he graduated AIT. Everything was cool. Yes it was at the courthouse.

I got married to my DH when he got leave after bootcamp and his A-school. We got married at the court house and got all the paperwork done when he was home on leave.

My brother (also a Marine) and his wife got married at the courthouse while he was on leave. What is at a courthouse...well usually were they hold the city court hearings, theres a court room, and usually alot of offices. (My dads a judge I know all about the courthouse.) I don't see any reason why you can't get married there. Paper work for getting married is pretty easy. I had to pay for our marriage license, have us both sign it (at the time I was underage so my parents had to sign too lol.) then the person that marrys you has to sign it (the preacher, judge, magistrate, whomever) then you have to take it back to the court house and have it put into the city records. Its all pretty simple. Oh I think you may have to take your birthcertificate and proof of identification. It was pretty easy since my dad marrys people all the time. We had ours at a church, my dad married us and my brother walked me down the isle. It wont last long either. I had a full ceramony and it was only maybe 10-15 minutes long. My brothers didn't even last that long 5 minutes tops (that was at the court house). Well good luck I hope this information was helpful!

this is very intersting to me...before DB left he asked it i would marry him when he gets back...of course i said yes...so he said he's gonna do the actual proposal when he gets back...and we just want to sign papers and stuff then do the ceremony later.

I know a few ladies have stated they went to the Courthouse in Chicago to get married and that there were a lot of boot grads there. Maybe do a google on getting married in Illinois, in the great lakes area. :goodluck

I got married before Basic, and it was at a court house. :dunno what you have to do if you wanted to get married after graduation.
