Well, I usually don't post too much but I've been just sooo excited for Austin lately. :yay He is doing so much so fast it almost makes me cry. Within the last week he's learned to sit up on his own, pull up on things, clap, patty cake, click his tongue, say dadda. It's just amazing to me that a week ago he couldn't do this stuff and now he is! He's sooo close to traditional crawling(still creeps/army crawls) although I doubt he will before he walks he's very adement about being independent. Tonight we finally had to lower the crib matress because he's pulling up on everything. :wub I don't know if I'm more sad or happy. I love the new milestones and so proud of him that he's doing everything so well, BUT at the same time I miss him being so dependent on me and being my tiny baby. Is that wrong? I just don't know where the hell 8 1/2 months went and my baby went from a tiny helpless infant to this wonderful personality filled independent little baby. :wub Okay I'm done just wanted to get that out :)

man, we lowered the crib matress when ellie was 5 months because she was trying to climb out, she was pulling up so much. now she pulls up and cruises around her crib... makes me sad. i can't put her down anywhere because she crawls or cruises away too fast :rofl she just started dancing over the last few days, too. if she hears music, she goes to town!! and it melts my heart when she calls me, jason, and my mom by name. where have our babies gone?

bex I totally agree wasn't it just yesterday they were just born and we got so much cuddle time? Now he wants to be down on the floor exploring! He dances too it's sooo cute lol. Austin has been TRYING to pull up but didn't get the hang of it till just recently. He's sooo smart though LOL I was so happy tonight he wanted me to rock him to sleep and cuddle. I get very few of those nights anymore because most nights he goes to bed and wants to fall asleep alone. I'm treasuring the cuddle time when I get it :wub

i am jealous! ellie is still nursed to sleep every night... then wakes around 12:30 or so to nurse... then after she wakes up for a 2nd or 3rd time, i put her back in bed with us. she's a boobaholic. :rofl

LOL even though I dried out if Austin catches it after I'm out of the bath or something he will latch on then gives me a dirty look because I don't have much left :lol I'm SOOOO lucky I know because my son is in bed no later than 8:30pm and is out till 9:30 or 10am every day :wub Also he goes to bed by himself most nights. Bex one of these days she'll let you sleep :P

z WAS talking in simple 2-3 word sentences around 10 months though. LOL. i think her talking kept her up.

though ellie babbles all day... dada, mama, ga-gah (grandma), ga-boom... and she barks at dogs and plays peek a boo and yea, never stops moving :hystericlaugh

enjoy every step! 4 months is a great age too. Before you know it, you are starting to think about planning the first birthday party :(
