Hawaii is beautiful!! Also, Carribean cruises are supposed to be a lot of fun!! DH and I plan to do a cruise sometime in the next year.

a cruise is a GREAT deal...but if he's going to be deployed on a ship, he might not want to get back on one....maybe you can think about Cancun....all inclusive resorts are a good deal too.

My hubby and I went on a cruise to the caribbean a year ago....it was a late honeymoon. It was sooooo awesome. There was so much to do on the ship (swimming, drinking, comedy shows, casino, etc.) and then you get to visit these beautiful islands too! And I know Carnival gives you a pretty decent military discount!!!

I havent gone on my honeymoon yet and I have been married for almost a year. But when we get the money DH is going to take me on a cruise to Alaska cuz we both want to go there. We were both born and raised in Hawaii so really dont want to go to any tropical places lol. Ive never been on a cruise before but I'm really looking forward to it when we can finally go. :)

When DH and I were planning our honeymoon, he didn't want to go on a cruise, because of the whole ship thing. LOL! We ended up going to Puerto Vallarta and we both loved it.

He should be able to get leave just find between deployments! Just have him put the CHIT in early so it goes through faster and you have more time to plan!!! Hawai'i would be very nice ;) ;) LOL!! The all inclusive resorts are good too! They wouldn't be too far for airfair and probably a bit easier on the bank account! DH doesn't want to do a cruise either after spending so much time on the ship. Eventually I'll get him to do a cruise with me just because I want to go to Alaska, but that will come in time! Have fun with the planning! Do some research on different areas and see what you like for activities more!!!! Good luck!!
