My Mom was killed 36 years ago today. Yesterday would of been her 68th birthday. She was out celebrating her 32nd birthday when she was killed. I was 9. :depressed

The part that gets me the most is that I am the only one who marks her birthday and passing. My parents were divorced when I was 1.5 years old so no love lost there. My dh never remembers.....pretty sad I think, her mark on the earth is pretty much extinguished except for me.

So.....here's to Theresa Marie......god bless you Mom. :sigh

That's really sad. I can only imagine what going through teen years without a mom must have been like.

:hugs

Just....wow. The bond between mothers and daughters......it's one that's needed. And it's sad that you didn't have your mom.

I am so sorry sweetie. Loosing a parent as a child is so awful.. just know that you being such a wonderful, caring person is an amazing legacy to leave behind and I'm sure your mom is more than proud of you :hugs.
