Anyone else have this major issue with any of your kids?
Our 2nd to oldest is 7. Has a reasonable vocabulary and can communicate his thoughts quite well. However, his "babytalk" is so thick and heavy that even I can't understand half of what he says.
It's truly frustrating and I feel that it's one of the only things holding him back from making friends and have success in school.
He's in speech therapy and it's actually not help much.
Anyone else dealing with it to this degree? Did you ever find something that helped your child communicate more clearly?
