We are planning on going in July or August. I'm hoping its not going to be to cold. It was snowing there yesterday. :wow I'm so excited. I'll be our first family vacation.

No we don't know yet. We've looked into the price of tent camping and thats about it. I know there are several different places to tent camp inside the park. I plan on finding out more information so we can have lots of fun while we're there. I'd like to make reservations as soon as John decides when we wants to take his vacation.

yay! I lived right outside of yellowstone for a while(in west yellowstone, lol) and loved it. It is sooo beautiful!

Ps....the weather should be just perfect! As long as it isn't up in flames. That tends to happen in late summer. Damn wildfires. :grumpy

We were in Yellowstone 5 summers ago and LOVED it. One of the highlights for us was jumping in Firehole River - the current is really strong!
