hi everyone. i'm new here...and to the military spouse roll. my dh will be sent off to bt / ait on july 2nd. he'll be at fort jackson for 6 months. we have 2 very strong and amazing children. our daughter, delaney, is 7 yr old, and our 5 yr old son, aj, is progressing into becoming a brain cancer survivor.
does anyone have any tips for transitioning into military life?

Hello, this site has lots of great tips. Also you might want to read Married to the Military, some of it is a little out dated but other parts are very helpful.

:heythere I'm Ali an Army girlfriend and Mum of two aged 10 and 12 (and a german shepherd who's 2). I've survived 3 deployments - feel free to ask any questions. Pleased to hear about your son's progress - that's wonderful news!
