Anybody have a GPS unit that they would be willing to let me borrow/rent for DH's grad? Or does anyone know where I can rent one cheap (less than 40-50)? Best I have been able to find will cost around $75 for 3 days. I only need it for 3 days, no point to buy one.

ETA - I'd be willing to pay for shipping to and from, if anyone can.

If you lived closer I'd let you borrow mine. I definitely wouldnt spend 75 for 3 days because sometimes they have them on sale for like 150. Maybe check craigslist and see if someone has one for cheap if noone here has one.

if your renting a car the place your renting from should have a gps you can rent

i've seen them for $99 at fry's. if you're gonna pay $75 to rent, you might as well buy & enjoy it well into the future.

We're taking my mom's Ford Escape, it would be easier to rent a car, but I'm only 20 and she's not going. Car rental companies won't let me rent or drive under 21. I don't want to have her rent it in her name and then wreck or something and have to pay out of pocket because I won't be covered.

Another thought...would your mom split the purchase price with you, op? Then you could take turns using it for roadtrips.
