I have been noticing over the past few days that the whites of Aries' eyes are bloodshot. I've heard some say that it's somewhat normal of the breed but I've never noticed it with any other boxers and don't remember if the one that we had growing up had it or not. Just curious if anybody else has ever noticed their pups eyes looking bloodshot.

I had never really noticed before...so I had to go and take a look at Bruce :lol His are a bit :yes With him you don't really see much of the whites of the eyes though (just a thin line of it all the way around) unless I look really close or pull the skin back.

I only noticed because she was pouting (time for her meds) and noticed that they were a bit red. I've heard a lot of people say it's normal but i also wondered if it had something to do with her being sick. She is still feeling crappy.

Poor thing...I really hope she feels better soon.

Me too! They say it could take up to 6 weeks for this damn cough to go away and it's making her miserable. She's so damn sweet and OMG the potty training thing has been EASY so far. She's probably by far the smartest dog I've ever had. (L)

ROFL...I can't really see mine without pulling their eyelids down either, but they are kinda pink. It may be because she is still not feeling well and if she is coughing still she may just be tired. I know Ida's eyes get droopy and red when she's really tired.

I don't have a boxer.. but Lilah's eyes get REALLY red and droopy when she's tired. They look scary, but as soon as she naps it's fine :lol

That is awesome about the potty training...Bruce was potty trained super fast too! In fact he only ever had 2 accidents (pee...never poo) in the house and both were my fault.

We are crate training and she has a hard time making it through the night which I totally expected but as far as in the house I think she has had 1 accident and that was because she was sitting at the door and I was changing maddy's diaper and didn't get done in time.

I had to look at Ordie's eyes and you can't really tell with him either. Ordie was crate trained as well. He is not anymore. I stopped putting him in when DH left for deployment and he never went back.:D

We did the crate and bell training with our dogs. They trained up really fast too....hardly an accident at all.

As far as I know, it's normal. Bulldogs and Boxers eyes get like that. I know Lucky's are like that every day also.
