Im a newly wed currently living in wyoming with my sister in law, my husband just deployed for a 15 month tour in iraq and it has not even been a week yet, after spending every single day with him I dont know how I am going to get through a first deployment, its scary I know I can make it it's just I feel like the people around me don't really understand what it's like so, i'm here to hopefully get in touch with new people make some new friends and learn to cope with things like deployment...thanks for all your support :) p.s. this site is great

Hi there! First of all, welcome to the group...this is a great site and I found it incredibly helpful during the whole deployment prep part! My DB is stationed at Ft Hood and also left for Iraq last weekend. He has done this 3 times already but this is my 1st one - so I am in exactly the same boat as you!
