I'm not up there, but i think you are a lucky duck. We've had Alaska on the top of our list forever.

oooh I'm not there so I can't help you but I'd love to go there. Maybe not live (don't like too much snow lol) but definately visit. My good friend lives in Fairbanks but he's not military. :shrug I hope someone can help you with your questions. :)

I'm up here! I just got here back at the start of March. Yes, the whole base is deploying all but a few people pretty much! But I am here! I don't live on post, I live off of post in North Pole. But all together it is amazing! Let me know if there is anything you want to know or just anything!

I'll be moving there next year. My dh is already over there and will be deploying next month.
